Cyber-whatever
Get over it people. This rant was a bit more relevant a few years ago, but it still holds true. Cyber-this, cyber-that, don't you start getting cyberheartburn when advertisers act as though you'll go into a zombie like trance and have to purchase anything with 'cyber' tacked onto it? Doesn't it make your cyberblood boil when CNET attempts to be hip by having some chick named after a countertop spew the cybers at you?
I thought it was cool, too. Back when I first read Neuromancer. But I was over it before the nineties got here. Will our popular media be over it before the teens get here?
